"The Centered Man Project is a community of men dedicated to the art of self-improvement and self-development. A community of romantics who see life as a beautiful adventure and wish to share that beauty with the world. A strong emphasis is put on masculinity, self-reliance, authenticity, renunciation and the spread of love as the basis of human happiness.
Our Values
The Centered Man Project’s founding value is love.
We believe that loving the world around you, loving life, and loving yourself at a deep level is the fundamental principle in living a rich life. Simply by waking up every morning and being thankful for what you have, the people in your life, and seeing each day as a new adventure can help promote a healthy and positive way of life.
We believe in authenticity and honesty as a manifestation of masculinity. A man is comfortable with his intentions and sees himself in others. A man does not lie to get something from a woman, he simply invites her to become a part of the adventure that is his life.
We believe that by seeing every situation with childlike curiosity, an incredible degree of romance and adventure is added to life.
We believe in being rooted in your own identity, rather than relying on the views of others to shape your opinion of yourself. You are an amazing person, regardless of the way others see you.
We believe in action over reaction. We understand that the world is chaos and is outside of our immediate control, and that we are responsible for our own actions. Taking action without attachment to outcome is always preferable to sitting on the sidelines. Let the chips fall where they may.
We believe in freeing ourselves from the chains of the ego and living a life dedicated to excellence. We spread love and make others feel better about themselves simply because it is what we were born to do.
We believe in freedom from need. We recognize that happiness is not an ongoing pursuit but rather our most basic, natural state and that peeling back the barriers of the ego and attachment will lead to happiness. We know deep within ourselves that we are okay RIGHT NOW.
Influences
The Centered Man Project takes inspiration from classic spiritual works such as the Bhagavad Gita, the Abhidharma, The Holy Bible, from authors like David Deida, Echkart Tolle and Robert Green, as well as from personal experience. Each of our instructors have logged in over 2000 hours of social field work, as well over 300 hours of workshops.
You are cordially invited to speak to any one of our instructors to find out what the Centered Man Project can do for you!
Love and lots of it, Mack"
A lot of you might be thinking that they look at love to much and you think that's gay. I say to you "grow the fuck up". The stuff they teach is undeniably good. They teach many of the same values that we do at HSG and I'd recommend anyone to read their articles.
