I'm a 16-year old Junior that has recently (about a year ago) learned about the general concept of "pick-up". I was pretty much socially sheltered up until Freshman year of highschool, where I realized that it was crucial for me to change my social status in order to achieve happiness and a sense of belonging. Sophomore year I started reading "How to win friends & influence people" By Dale Carnegie, primarily to cure my social anxiety / awkwardness. I would say that I have progressed a great deal, as I can confidently and comfortably hold conversation & flirt with females, touch, know the general concepts of attraction, etc. However, I still have a long way to go. My goal for this year is to expand on my social circles, possibly get in to a relationship with a female, and to practice being an "Alpha male".
