It doesn't stunt your growth. Here's what you need to do: Take what you eat currently. Triple it. Then double your water intake, then replace half that intake with milk. That shuld help you gain weight. While you're doing this, start up a programme like Starting Strength. Also check out good sourced like www.leangains.com (ignore the fasting, as you don't need it). Ignore fat gains. Muscle matters. Oh and I assume you're gonna be taking enough responsibility and effort to find information about this.

join bodybuilding.com the forum is great. weights do not stunt ur growth that is BULLSHIT. also get a gym membership. Do not just train chest and arms, that is what i did for so long, and it puts u out of proportion and doesn't look good. also eat A TON, because u r definitely an ectomorph and need the calories. when i first started i did not eat a lot and did not make any gains. once i started eating i got a lot of muscle, also don't worry about losing ur abs as long as u dont look fat, just a small layer over the abs is ok when your bulking. Just read up on bodybuilding because you will get a lot of good info that will help u. Also the only supplements that are worth your money are, whey, creatine, and a prework out (not necessary at all)

Thanks for the info guys, I'll check out the sites, but I still don't get why I get excruciating back pain when I start doing weights, is it anything serious? or does it happen to everyone? also can anyone explain the difference and benefits of free weights and elliptical?

free weights are better because you have to stabilize the weights instead of the machine stabilizing them, also u might be using shitty form and that's why your back hurts.

Do you play any school sports ? If not join one and workout with your team. Your bacl hurting is probably from the back muscle you havent developed yet. It can also be shitty form.

Define it more clearly. What muscle in your back? upper/lower? Define excrutiating. I have a minor upper back injury (that I can probably fix with a physio), but I work around it.

Lower, it really bugs me when going to sleep too, and mostley it starts to hurt like crap, but a quick hot bath helps it, and no, no injury just happens when I do weights, hmm shitty form never thought of that. I'll checkout some forms on google if that is the case

Are you doing deadlifts? That would likely be the main reason for any lower back pain. Definitely make sure you're using proper form.

Lifting doesn't stunt your growth. I hate when people say that. Also, back pain is usually caused by bad form. Specifically, deadlifting seems to be the worst culprit for this. Take it easy on the weights. Do the most weight you can do with good form. Don't try to impress your friends. You'll never get any better if you keep using bad form.

A lot of lower back pain is related to your hamstrings. I get lower back pains when my hamstrings get too tight, so try stretching them out every day and it should help you out. I don't have a clue how they're linked, but my physio told me so and it sorted me out.

Because there's millions of them scattered amongst the Internet. Also, it's really not hard at all. All it is, is eating a sufficient amount of calories (especially protein), working out with the big compound lifts and getting sufficient rest. It's not complicated at all.
