Confidence is the mindset + belief that one is sure of his actions and he's not afraid to do them.
People gain confidence from validation from others and validation from self.
So if one thinks "I'm awesome." he's already got half of the concept covered.
Now to get the other half.
How do we feel we are of equal or more value than others and never less?
Understanding psychology.
Some people get totally bummed when a muscular man says "Shut the fuck up fagget."
If you think about it hard enough, you'll notice WHY he said that and WHERE it came from.
He's merely insecure of himself and wants to boost his ego by making others feel less value than him.
Then you have two choices, boost your ego or lose your ego.
Lose it by going "okay, you're the boss." and being reactive to what he said.
Gain it by going "Wow, forget to put on your tourettes patch again?" and not caring what he said.
You see, no one is out to get you unless they themselves feel unconfident and insecure of themselves.
The cool people focus on having fun, not spreading the disease of bad feelings.
