Well, prom is rolling around in about a month or so (somewhere near mid-April), and i need major help. There is this girl in my english class I want to ask to prom, but I don't really talk to her much. Shes a real babe and is pretty shy girl and doesn't have a boyfriend. I'm starting to talk to her now in preparation to asking her. I think she likes me, because when ever I talk to her I always make her laugh and smile, but then the conversation turns into awkward nodding between me and her, and then I just have to leave or bell rings or class starts or something. I'm pretty sure if I ask her she won't say no, but I don't know her enough to try to cold turkey ask a girl to prom.
I am really to trying to up my game and have been trying to get more comfortable talking to girls by striking conversation with girls where ever I can. (mall, library, elevator, on the street, etc.) Any advice from just starting to talk to her to getting her number to asking her to prom? And how important are her friends to the girl when It comes to her decision? Not that I care what friends think but most likely if she says yes her friends will be there with us too.
Any general prom advice is also welcomed. How was your prom?

Yeah, Honestly the girls like it waaay more if your super confident about it. You don't need to fully ease into it. Just pull her aside one day and ask her. Smile and stuff.
You'll do fine.

I was thinking about maybe going big with asking her to prom. Just asking doesn't seem as fun.
