So this senior I'm interested in, was always telling me about her and how she was gonna break up with her bf, I don't know why she was telling me this, but we started hanging out and texting a lot about pretty much anything. I asked her to prom and she said yes. Now I asked her if she's considering prom just an "as friends" prom or an an actual "date prom" and she said well consider it a date. Now she really nice and she tends to beat around the bush and never give straight answers.
So it's been a month since she broke up with her bf, I decided to ask her how she felt about me, considering we're going to 2 proms together it can't just be friends only. I asked her how she felt about me and she says she didn't know, she just got out if a relationship and needs more time. She said she's not looking for a relationship. Now I don't know if she's not looking for a relationship at all, or just not with me. I asker her to Define where we currently stood and if she considers me a potential bf, or what we can become.
She said she likes hanging out with me and considers me more than just a friend. But pretty much every question I asked about her and me she says she doesn't know. And she says prom a "friendly date" so I don't know if she's agreeing to consider it a date cause she doesn't know me very well and wants to get to know me better before she commits to anything. But I wish she would just give me a straight answer if she was interested in me or not, and she says she doesn't know how she feels about me.
Now this could be a nice way if saying she's not interested in me, or she is being honest and doesn't really know how she feels about me. So we talked about this in person and she said she hope it didn't hurt my feelings, and she asked why I brought it up. I told her that she looked somewhat interested in me, the constant texting, flirting, talking, going to 2 proms together, we can't just be friends only, and she said "I hope you don't take this the wrong way but what made it seem like I was interested?" Now I don't know if she just tied up in her previous relationship, she did say she needs more time, but she didn't flat out reject me, I wasn't asking her out I just wanted to know how she felt about me and she didn't know. Then she texts me saying she's gonna need a lot if time before any relationship, I told her I respect her feelings and she said "thank you I'm flattered that your interested in me but at this time I can honestly tell you I don't feel the same way, at least for now". Is she flat out rejecting me or giving me a chance?

Listen she has just gotten out of a relationship. I think the fact that a) she said it was a date kinda and b) that she sees you as more than a friend says that she does seem interested but I think she is confused and wants to get to know you. You also need to realise that she is a woman. Girls are not always sure about what they want.

You haven't even been on these 'dates' yet and you're literally PROBING her for some sort of answers. The reason you're probing so much is because YOU are insecure about the situation. Don't take that out on HER by abusing her with questions like 'what are we, what are we, what are we'

if she says she doesn't know yet, she doesn't. fucking. know yet. Chill out.

This means spend time together and show her a great time, escalate and be sexual and she'll undoubtedly decide to be with you.

Girls don't decide to be with you just because you keep asking and asking. They decide because you show them THROUGH YOUR ACTIONS why they should snap you up.

Stop asking these questions. ever. i never ask girls if they like me, i just assume they do or that they will if they spend more time with me. The questions you ask are all your own insecurity, you have a lot of growing up to do in that sense.
