I have a yearlong "change the world project" for my government class, but I need to turn my topic in by Monday. It will be a 3-5 page thing that we'll be working on for a while. Our teacher gave us a couple examples of what he meant. He explained how one student started a traditional school event a couple years ago that was a girl's football game with guys as the cheerleaders, and that by doing that, they literally "changed the world" in a way; if they had not started it, there would be no such thing right now. He clearly stated that he does not mean it on a global scale, he just wants us to do something that will cause some sort of impact, whether it be on some person's life, a community, school or whatever. Hopefully you guys catch my drift.
I just found out that I can work with a partner if I choose to, so maybe I'll ask a one the the hotties in my class if she'd want to do the project with me. She is pretty cool so it wouldn't be a half-bad idea.
Anyways, does anyone have some ideas to offer?

I don't necessarily have any specific ideas, but I figure it'd be good to remember not to be afraid to get a bit over-the-top. Personally, I don't think a role-reversed football game is all too original (1984 - Revenge of the Nerds) but it takes balls to pull off in public (especially for dudes...) and it ended up still being entertaining, so you might wanna think along those lines; it doesn't have to be incredibly unique, just have the greatest effect. I don't know what you're going for but I think that'll help.

Thanks, that was a good wakeup call. That's a good point, to not be afraid of success. There is another valuable quote/line I heard, it was along the lines of "successful people don't make the right choices, they make their choices right." I give props to whoever thought of the idea for the girl's football game event. That was a big risk for them to take, and they pulled it off.
