Hey forum, its been a hella long time since I posted again on here. It's kind of crazy, but I still think about the things that were posted on this place and it still amazes me sometimes about the mentalities here actually still apply to my "game" in college.
Just a quick note, there is a very rookie mistake with aspiring PUAs that I really need to address, partly because I was guilty to it also when I first started. When you are gaming a girl, do NOT, I mean DO NOT create the "competitive" vibe, where you develop this "weird" relationship in that you "hate" each other. Sure, it works great for attraction, especially if she's in to you, but long term, it's disastrous and will leave you feeling like complete shit.
I remember a long time ago about a post (I think it was by Grape, or another oldie.) that mentioned that instead of a You vs. the Girl mentality, you need to foster a You and the Girl vs. the World mentality. Where no one else in the world understands you two. Where everyone is out to get you two, and that you as a pair are different.
I have had two LTRs (long-term relationships) with two different girls, one with the You vs. the Girl mentality, the second with the You and the Girl vs. the World mentality. Let me just say, they were completely different experiences. The first left me completely alone, where it started getting to the point when she would say "I don't like you" in a joking manner and I would reply the same, I would secretly mean it. It was terrible.
On the other hand, the second relationship was simply put, wonderful. We would go on adventures everywhere (camping, fruit picking, hiking a mountain to see the sunrise) and would have the constant thought that other people would find us weird for the things we did. We were truly battling we world to rid it of its boringness and drabness.
Please keep this in mind when you start, and don't fall into the same pitfall that I did.
As always, cheers.
