Trying to take that next step

Alright so I'm a sophomore in highschool, age 16 and my girlfriend is a freshmen. So I've been dating this girl for about a month or so, and we get along pretty well, and I'm the first guy she's really done anything with. She's kind of a prude, but getting her turned on is not really a problem. So I've been trying to go beyond making out and go and try to finger her And I thought instead of just going for it I would talk to her about it. But every time I ask her a question about it or try to seriously talk about something like that she gets uncomfortable and shuts me down. I don't know what to do, should I try keep trying or be spontaneous?

Spontaneous is definitely the way to go. You have to get her caught up in the moment and get her emotional brain to take over. Also you will need to comfort her and guide her through the process
