Odd name (I'm bad at naming things)

Today in study hall I overheard this kid in a conversation with a girl. SO he started asking her questions and something he said sounded so much like a routine that I almost laughed. He said something along the lines of, (not exactly sure but here is the gist of it)

"which one of the people with dorothy in the wizard of oz do you think is the best boyfriend material, the courageless lion, the brainless scarecrow, or the heartless tin man."

she answered with the scarecrow (i think) and I didn't hear his response Because I was thinking holy shit did he just use a routine, and I thought of how he could neg her with each of the responses.

But after that I noticed everything that was going on and i'm wondering if he is a natural or if he knows about Pick up.
