You can hide behind trees, try and disappear in the dark, put your headphones in and try to shut it out, or just all around turn yourself off to it, but at the end of the day no matter what you do, you just find yourself around some beta shit; it's like that one little stain on your bedroom floor that just won't go away, I mean even if you don't suffer from it yourself I bet you're a liar if you say you don't know someone that does.
I never liked to make generalizations about things, so even when I was younger and a lot more naive I wouldn't have believed that ill muscles or getting a few girls into bed would grant you endless confidence. I've got these 2 friends in particular that fill these roles like pros to the point where it almost depresses me. Every time I'm in the car with them 95% of what I hear is about how they want girlfriends so bad, or how they don't understand how they used to have every girl chasing after them and now they're at rock bottom, or how other guys that they think are uglier than them get hot ass girlfriends and they don't, or...you get the point. I feel like the odd man out all the fucking time because I don't wanna indulge them on this sad bullshit and I'm quiet every time this shit comes up. I gave up on giving them the same advice, it's not worth it. Plus, what advice would they wanna take from a virgin ass kid like me, huh? All ego-trip shit aside, I think it's really funny how a kid with less experience (sexually at least) than both of them would never find himself practically laying to waste in his own little corner, wondering where he went wrong, and why life isn't treating him fairly. Everyone feels like they're up Shit's Creek without a paddle at some point, but when it happens every day you obviously have a problem, one that you should be fixing. Plus we're not talking about losing your baby or something, we're talking about girls, and new ones you don't have to dwell over every day can be found a few miles away at the mall.
Now that's just what I see. I don't mean to preach, and this probably all seems like I'm just trying to let out my personal issues out to someone that'll listen, and I'd be lying if I said it entirely wasn't but it's something everyone can relate to so why not talk about it.
