I have a very thin beard that you can barely see unless if your up close but you can definently feel it. The left side grows a little bit more than the right side on my cheek. I am 17 and this is the first year that i have grown it. I shave it about every 2-3 weeks. I have a young looking face so a beard would make me look a bit older.
If I want to make it grow thicker should I keep shaving it or wait it out and what would that estimate lf time be?

Just keep a clean face. As you keep going through puberty it'll thicken up on its own. If you have peach fuzz... please shave it. "Feeling it" is not a reason to have it there. Unless it's thick and visible, just shave it. I'm almost 20 and my beard hasn't completely filled in, however it's MUCH thicker than in high school. It takes different time for everyone.
