Hello everyone, my name is Smokey and I'm a new dude on the block. I'm going to be a sophomore and I found this site because I had first found r/seduction and then from there I was linked to r/highseddit. I liked all the good information that was there, but it just didn't seem very organized because you can't set that up like a forum. So I searched for some PUA forums and only got the forums with advice for general PUA stuff, which as I've seen doesn't apply t high school very well. Finally I found this site and I like how it was much more organized in a forum setting so I decided to join!
Now I guess I can talk a little about myself. So first off I am in the 'popular' group, but I wouldn't consider myself super popular. I play three different sports and am pretty good at each of them as well. I know and talk to a lot of people and I mostly hang out with that popular group during school. However, only a few (like 2-3) people from that group actually ask me to hang out. The rest like me and talk to me (at least I think they like me at least a little
) but they never invite me to do anything with them outside of school. I am also friends with kids in other groups and I can get along with lots of people. Also, even though the 'popular' girls talk to other kids in my group, they usually ignore me. Every so often they'll talk with me but usually they don't.
What I want to accomplish here is just to get myself higher up on the social scale. I want to be friends with all of those kids and able to hang out with them a lot. I also want to develop myself so I'm my own person and so I can stand my ground, because I've noticed I let myself get pushed around sometimes. Concerning girls though, I can talk to them whenever there is an excuse to but sometimes it's a little bit awkward because I don't really know what to say. When I do get to know a girl though, I can chat with her all day and constantly make her laugh (I'm very good at talking with people if I can get to know them just a little bit). I also just want to get to the point where girls will come and start talking to me first, text me first, and ask me to hang out etc. Most of my other guy friends get girls to do that stuff to them, and I want it as well. I know that this will take a lot of hard work, but I'm willing to put it in to get to this point. And hopefully there is some advice here about how to text girls better because I think I need a little bit of help in that area. I have been in a "relationship" with a girl before. The reason I say it like that is because she was very shy and never really talked so I ended it. We never even got to really know each other lol.
