Gf upset. What should I do?

So my gf and I are arguing because apparently "I don't do enough to show her that she is different than everybody else for me." So what happened was, yesterday we were supposed to hang out, when she got home ( we live very close). But then she texts me if its okay if we hang out later in the evening since she is going to the mall with her mom. So say ok, and was waiting for her to let me know when she's home. Now some hours pass, and right after I eat dinner I text her asking when we will hang. She says that she ran into a friend in the mall and will be back at 10:30 pm ish. Now I had a final exam in the morning and I couldn't sleep well last night so I needed to go to bed early. So I told her that. And then the argument began... She was talking about how she was willing to make sacrifices and I am not, then I needed to prove that she IS special for me or something. What do you think guys? This is kinda my first long term relationship so I don't have much experience with this stuff.
