Anxiety in essence is a fear of social rejection. Primitive people who lived together in small groups were more likely to survive and reproduce than those living alone. An isolated person would be more susceptible to injury, illness, lack of shelter, and limited resources and would be less able to mate and raise offspring than individuals living in groups or tribes. Therefore anything that motivates people to avoid behaviors that might lead to their exclusion from the group would help the species survive. Simply put, anxiety is MEANT to block you from doing anything that others may judge you by; however, this is only because way back when, it was the difference between life and death. That is obviously not the case anymore. I hope this little history/psych lesson helps anyone having a hard time with AA.

Yeah, so true...
Only that in my school (and neighboring areas) it's still matter of life and death. Or at least few broken bones and bleedings. Really, here it are ALL AMOG-s.
