Hey guys. I just dumped my girl, she goes off and rings my best friend asking for a hook up. What does he do? 'HEY, YOU JUST BROKE UP WITH MY BEST MATE. I WOULD NEVER FUCKING DO THAT TO HIM. PISS OFF!' slams the phone down. She was an 8, he's wanted to hook up with her before. But you know what, his friends were more important then that. My other best friend had a massive crush on her as well, he never told me. He knew that if he did, I'd break it off with her and he wanted me to be happy. I just found out he was really really upset about us being together for a really really long time. Did he get mad at me? Treat me any different? No. He went on like nothing was wrong, he stomached all of it. I didn't even know he was upset until just recently. He even supported us. I hope one day, I can be that good a guy.
THAT, is a friend. Those are the kind of guys that will have your back, those are the kind of guys that you need to back up. NEVER EVER run ANY of your friends down. They only became that good to me because I was good to them. If everything else falls apart, I know they'll be there for me. If everything falls apart for them, I'll be there for them. I had a meltdown a couple of months back, they had my back. They took care of me the whole time. I can't remember what happened, but I'm pretty sure I was nasty the whole time. I'm so glad I have friends like that. We're all going to hit the bottom once, we're all going to need people to pick us up. They are going to need picking up to. Pick them up. Give value to everyone, you'll never know how good a friend you could become with someone. No one becomes great by themself.
'Dude, fuck her. You fucking better then her. No one does that to you. I've got a couple of parties coming up, we'll get you 50 chicks way better then her. Don't worry man, I got your back.'
