So I was reading some stuff on growyourgame.com (great resource by the way, i hate giving away my secrets but were all bros here) and something popped into my head
I had found the secret to letting go and enjoy high school and pretty much life in general.
Do only what makes you happy. Dont do anything that makes you unhappy. Nothing else. Sounds simple right? Thats because it is.
You just have to make sure that every action you do is in relation to making you happy.
It used to be that Id hang around with people I was uncomfortable with trying to expand my social circle but i just ended up being uncomfortable. Then I decided that hanging out with those people didnt make me happy.
So i walked away from them. Told them i didnt feel like hanging out with them anymore.
HB: Andrew go get me a straw
Andrew: nah
HB: Why not?
Andrew: Because I dont want to.
IT might seem bitchy at first but people start to take notice and this SKYROCKETS your alphamale-itude. Because your doing things to make yourself happy, you become a happier person. This along with the newfound confidence you have make for a winning combination in school.
You could say, "But Andrew, homework doesnt make me happy!"
Personally, while homework is a pain in the ass, getting the grades--> getting into a good school--> being able to have the means to live out my happy life, be it rock climbing, traveling, or starting that record label ive always wanted DOES make me happy
Whenever your about to do something, think to yourself, "Will this make me happy?" And if the answer is yes, go ahead and go for it. If the answer is no, either dont do it or try to decide what the reason is that you want to do it, and go from there. Its hard in the beginning, to let things that you destructively hung to go, but its worth it.
Be Happy
