Well, I was searching online for something and I came across this guys website. www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/He has a very attractive and interesting lifestyle, Just read some of his blogs. But anyways, I saw his body building blog. What caught my eye is, he said he gained 34 pounds of muscle in 28 days. First I thought it was bullshit, but then I did my own research. www.bodybuilding.com/fun/timothyf.htm (the program) www.mensimprovement.com/b-four-week-challenge-01-experiment-in-rapid-muscle-growth-part-1-2007_06_12.htmlwww.musclenet.com/coloradoexperiment.htm (You must read this to understand the program) But still, all this sounded kinda to good to be true. So I went out to three big gyms. I talked to about 15 trainers, among which I found one who tried this program. He is American and he studied this when he was in college. He said he usually don't use any program like this because it really tires his clients in a short time. But he assured me that it works. So I am going to try this out. Four week challenge starting tomorrow. I will post pictures on 17th August. Oh, I went to York University Campus in Toronto yesterday. I am telling you man, I have seen some of the hottest pretty little girls ever. Even the teachers are hot. I think there is a guy shortage there. There were about 50 beauties and only about 15 guys, excluding the teachers. Krabby

Hey man, I took a quick look at that plan, and it looks pretty sound. I would be interested to see how you go. The only thing I don't like about it is the amount of supplements he recommends, but thats just my opinion of them. Three points of advice I have are: -Be consistent in everything, especially don't miss any workouts. -Train as hard as you possibly can, this will supercharge your progress. -Don't sweat if you don't get the same amount of pounds of muscle or w/e in the same time as he did. Everyone has different genetics, and respond differently to lifting. Also take into consideration that the biggest gains are made when bodybuilding is first started, my understanding was that you already work out? And this guy obviously made his gains starting fresh. Good luck, and I will look forward to seeing how you go

While it's a solid routine, I'm skeptical about the figures. I'd love to be proven wrong. Good luck!

How much did you spend for all those supplements?
Looks like a shit-load of supplements to take.

So I am going to start this program from today. By krabbyzilo at 2009-07-21 By Krabbyzilo at 2009-07-21 By Krabbyzilo at 2009-07-21 Neck 14 Shoulders 46 Biceps 12.5--12.5 Chest 38 Waist 34 Thigh 24.8--24.5 Calf 14.5--14 Current Weight is 71.5 KG. Measurements are in Inches. Relaxed muscle measurements. Date: 21st July 2009 Oh, I am not going to be using all those supplements. I don't need 34 pounds of muscle. If I can gain 10lbs, I would be happy. I am more shooting for the look than the number.

I really like how this looks, especially the two workouts per week thing (until school again, it's a hassle getting to the gym days other than saturday and sunday when i work near it, also i noticed i sometimes gained more when missing workouts lol). However, i'm not sure i fully understand it. Does it mean do one set per exercise, 5 seconds up 5 seconds down, and that's it? Just stick to whatever exercises you do like that? Or do you do his:
Pullover + Bent row Shoulder-width leg press Pec-deck + weighted dips Leg curl Reverse thick-bar curl (purchase cut 2" piping from Home Depot if needed) Seated calf raises Manual neck resistance Machine crunches
twice a week? I noticed this does not have bench press or squats, which is strange to me if it works so well.

You can do any exercise as long as you work your whole body. And only do one set. You must tire your muscle in that set. I don't know how to phrase it, my English is not very good. The workout you put is a sample workout. I will start out with this and then switch it with another workout that works the same muscles. I will post everything here. And try the 5 sec up and 5 sec down, It makes the workout very hard.

I am going to put a halt to this experiment due to some certain family issues. But I will do it before this years end.

yea the 4hr work week guy, tim ferris, is insane. In a good way. He developed a dehydration system so he could lose water weight for weigh ins and then get it all back in like 2 days. Then he became like a kickboxing champion or something. Hope you get your work out routine together man.

You rested all of your muscles and let them fully heal and you would accept had a lot on activity because you had not done abundant for a few days. A blow is really good for your physique every so often.

The most important is to eat healthy food in diet. Eating sea food or meat will be the best in my opinion. Exercise a lot early in the morning. Drink more water and eat more fruits . Weight lifting will be the best exercise for and very mush effective in building muscle faster. Avoid oily food and workout regular.

So have any of you guys got any good results from this program? I'm not into trying it unless I know you guys are having success. And what food stuff would you guys suggest for snacks also, nuts are not an option unfortunately. :/
