I've taken about a month or two off from lifting primarily because I've been lazy as fuck. Now that school is starting up and I have to get out of bed to do something it should be much easier to actually get to the gym. I've lost quiet a bit of weight from not lifting. I have just about three months before I turn 16 so I need to be pretty serious and dedicated from here on out.
Progress pictures, goals, stats, diet, splits, and my current attitude will be recorded until I reach my goal which is a clean 155 pounds. I currently weigh 130 pounds so it may take some time but I should still be able to get newb gains if I play it right.
I'm going to start with Rippetoes Starting Strength program since I've never done it and the program is great for gaining weight and muscle. My first workout will be on Monday, August 24th, 2009.
I'm not sure if it'll allow me to edit this post in the future so therefore I'll post the rest of what I'm planning to in replies.

I'll probably add some abs on each day as well.
~Diet: Breakfast- Eggs, Oatmeal W/ Milk, Fiber One bar Snack 1- PBJ Lunch- It's quiet hard to plan this out because I eat the schools lunch 99% of the time but usually it's pasta, taco salads, some of them sloppy joes (lulz), or sandwiches. I always eat these with brockly, noodles, and some fruit. Snack 2- PBJ, protein bar ~~~WORKOUT~~~ Meal 3- PWO protein shake, tuna, meat sandwich, cottage cheese, hatever else I can find around. Dinner- Can't really plan this ahead of time, mom cooks dinner every night but it's almost always healthy. We always have a source of meat, veggies, sometimes fruit. Tonight we had steak, salad, mango. Snack 3 (Last snack before bed)- Peanut butter, and probably some left overs from dinner.
I should drink a protein shake before my workout but I'll be lifting at school for the next couple of months because it's the most convenient. I can't really take a protein shake with me to school and carry it around all day so I'll substitute and protein bar for now.

I use to get that a lot... in middle school But yeah my family is generally pretty hairy so I'm pretty hairy, I won't unless I get into BB competitions which probably won't happen. I'm fine with my legs being hairy just not my back and I'll probably maintain my chest if he gets too hairy. Not sure if I've mentioned this already but I'll take new progress pictures at the end of each week. Anyways... ~Week 1 Lifting Stats (Working sets, not my max-- these are are 3x5 besides Deadlifts which is 1 set of 5)Squat: 110 Bench: 90 Deadlift: 88 Dips: BW (130) Current Weight: 131.5 (still have at least one more meal to go and snacks-- keep in mind by I mean healthy snacks. I'll probably edit this again at the end of the day depending on weight change)

Shave it, its only gonna help u Doubt it, they'll probably think I'm a homo or some shit. Good idea though... Don't shave, you'll look like a fag. Even girls that shave their arms look weird. Alek is jealous. Hes white and not hairy so he isn't used to hair.

I've seen my weight go up quiet a bit since Sunday night, I realize practically none of this is solid but it will help me gain muscle. I've gained a mighty 8 pounds, by the looks of it I'll hit 140 lbs for the first time ever tomorrow or by the next day. I'm pretty much amazed, I've never been able to see a jump like this and I know it sounds n00b but at the rate I'm going I'll overachieve my goals by a lot. If that does indeed happen I'ma shit brix (speaking of shitting, I've had to use the restroom a shit load but I still weigh this much). I use to think "why arn't I gaining weight? I eat a lot" basically that wasn't too true even though I had drilled it into my head that it was. If you wanna gain you have to EAT like for real take trail mix, sandwiches, anything to school and just eat that shit all day also drink water all day. Eat a large breakfast, eat whenever you can, and I'm also pretty sure my gallon a milk a day is helping quiet a bit too.

how the hell do you gain weight so fast lol? I was 140 lbs in november, and i lifted everyday until the begining of summer. And i still weigh 140. And yes i lifted very hard

And yes i lifted very hard It's not solid weight bro, I'm sure when you wake up in the morning you weigh 140. That's not the case for me yet, although it will be in the soon future. How did I gain it so fast though? Eat, eat, and eat. Really I can't stress this enough especially with text. A couple months ago I convinced myself I was eating enough (which I wasn't) but I wasn't gaining weight which at the time I found weird. I have my diet posted in one of my replies posted above but I still try to eat more. My mom usually cooks pretty large healthy meals every night for dinner which is definitely a factor in how much weight I can gain. Make sure you eat breakfast every morning, I fucking hate waking up early but if you really want gain you'll find a way to make it work so you get up early enough to have breakfast. I normally only have Eggs and Milk even though I posted Oatmeal in my diet, we don't have any Oatmeal right now. If you don't eat breakfast your body is basically feeding off your muscles because it's still in a catabolic state. I also drink a shit load of milk when I'm not in school, for lunch I have a carton or two of the schools milk then when I get home I fucking drink glass after glass of milk until I go to bed. When I finish one glass I go refill. Make sure you're lifting with correct technique and make sure you're not overtraining any muscle. It's said that you shouldn't workout any one muscle more than twice a week although with beginners you could probably get away with three. By your last repetition of your last set you should need a spot because you should barely be able to do it and you need to be pushing yourself hard. With that being said though most people would agree gaining muscle is about 60-80% eating. And I forgot to add I make two PBJ's each night, put them in the fridge and take them to school the next day. ~Day 3 StatsSquat: 110 (should've added like two lbs, was really sore though) Standing Military Press: 55 Barbell Bent Rows: 60 Weight: 137.5 lbs
