We have a lot of good tips on what to wear, but let's have a thread on what to AVOID.
I'll start it off: - black leather jackets. unless they're really fit and have that really modern feel, dont wear em. - polo shorts with popped collars. obvious one. - saggy jeans. dont do that. - super tight skinny jeans. Normal skinny fits are completely fine, but dont wear them super super tight. - girl jeans. unless you rip them knee level, dont wear em. - shiny puffy vests, only fresh off the boat asians can pull these off. - gelled fawkhawks. unless you're THAT attractive, be careful with this one. it's not a COMPLETE no, but really, be careful. - flood jeans. dont wear jeans that go above your ankles... - large clothing. unless you're intentionally wearing them for comfort not style on a tired school morning, stay away from large clothing. you want to wear FIT. - Metallica/Iron maiden/old school metal band shirts. Don't wear these. - t shirts with phrases like "i'm a bad ass" or "wanted: sex" don't wear these.

well when going to a party the last 1 doesn't apply t-shirts with messages like: "loving is sharing", "your gf has my other t-shirt" etc... work perfectly in a party or club

I actually tried a Fauxhawk once. I looked like a personal trainer at a damn gym. hahaha I think I want to try it again. I am THAT attractive. What's wrong with black leather coats? I own one and wear it from time to time, but not that often. Check out Zac Efron in 17 Again...

I have the fauxhawk everyday the key is to use a product that doesn't make your hair look wet or greasy. That axe stuff actually works lol but my hair is sorta short ish. It makes me look more masculine cause of my facial shape

Yea there's nothing wrong with black leather coats if you can pull them off. And skinnier jeans are always going to be better than baggy jeans, just dont bloody wear skintight/"spray on jeans"

Yeah it's the gel part that causes issues, but can for other hairstyles it's just not as common.

Skinny-ish jeans > baggy jeans. Women want to see our shape too! Don't wear nut-crunchers though, or anything falling off your waist. The jeans should contour to your ass a bit. Again, not to much though.
Regarding fauxhawks and all hairstyles for that matter, you can actually train your hair to form certain styles. Being diligent on gelling your hair even just a little bit can actually start to make your hair naturally form that shape. Persistence is key though. Obviously, it will take a while. I have friends who don't gel their hair in the slightest, yet have a fauxhawkish look.

well that works on some human beings. But those of us with things like Welsh hair do not have that ability. I have had a fauxhawk for years but it doesnt stick, it continues to poof horribly.

Super super tight shirts are a no-no as well. they jsut make you look gay. Semi tight is definitely good though.
