My first mall approach(AFC)

I approached an HB9 and an HB7 today at the foodcourt.

I said: "Thats a nice black shirt, I actually have a black sister?

(Its funny because I'm a white kid so that line doesnt even make sense, its supposed to be humorous).

She said: "She also has a black sister" *points to her friend who also happened to have a black shirt on*.

I'm pretty sure she actually wanted to talk to me but right after she said that I pussied out and said "ok bye now even though I know there could be so much more I would've said and would've had I not been stricken with AA.

I know it was very AFC of me but I really haven't approached girls at the mall.

Any advice?

Approaching works like that alot at the start, i mean, it really does remind me of the movies where the guy freezes up around a girl, shit seems surreal when it's in a film huh?
