I have apc new standards and have been wearing them almost everyday since school started. For raw denim you really want to wear them hard, if not you are just wasting the money/time.

hehe I said I was 5'3" earlier, yeah? 90 lbs. I'm totally petite. Anyway, what's the shrinkage like? Dunno anyone here who wears any of the premium raw denim. But I know APC's are 34"(maybe 36") inseam so you'll have to get yours wayyyy hemmed, and they stretch so you might be stuck with a baggy look. As for the levi's, 2-3" shrink on the waist and 1-2" shrink on the inseam. They'll stretch back if you wear em damp though, cause my waist is no where near as tight as it was after the soak. Nine

Nine www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=665Inseams are 20-odd, so those sound like they'll fit alright. Basically, buy the actual size you want because shrinkage and stretch will cancel eachother?

Nine My apc are tagged at 26 waist (yeah almost uncomfortable at first) but definitely will stretch to true size. For the first soak i am thinking after spring break. (march-ish). Debating if i should swim in the ocean or just soak them at home.

From what I've heard APCs only shrink after you wash, and even then they stretch back out to more than original, so I'm going to size down when I get mine. Nine

I usually wear 30-32 waist in regular jeans. With the apc being my first slim-fit jeans, i went down a few more than normal.

Hold up, why do we need special jeans for this? Why can't we start with new, store-bought jeans without too much going on?

PUA you can get the levi one's at macy's something similar.
Volt: The regular jeans have been washed too much so they won't fade really. They wash em like 20 times and you end up with all those fake effects. These have no effects and aren't factory washed.
