I've done this.
but not with $300 jeans. I just got plain A&F jeans (not recommended becasue they tear hella easy) for $20 on sale (plus employee discount) and wore them for the last 2 years (only 1 year often) and they're torn up, faded perfectly, and I drew pacman on one leg =D
They fit AMAZINGLY too

Then they aren't actually raw denim. All jeans get better with time, but raw ones do it faster and look better.

mine were only 130 which is pretty good. and the soak didnt do soo much like i wanted it to. so gonna keep on wearin em some more.

why not, its only getting better And yes before the wash they look more warn in becuase they were stretched out. Used a bit warmer water to shrink them back down, I'll be able to get more wear again. Before wash: After Wash:

I have a pair of levi's that I've had for six months and they're falling apart. I have a pair of raw jeans that I've had for over a year and they just keep getting better.
